Bothroyd staying?

Been watching SSN since I got home - David Craig (SSN reporter @ Newcastle) saying Derek Llambias (some guy who's part of Newcastle hierarchy) frantically trying to get a deal for a short-term replacement done, then looking to do something bigger in the summer - personally I can't see JB going as City wouldn't be able to get a replacement for him in time, even if someone offered £6m !
