PR on his 3rd or 4th promise, said tomorrow, then in tonights Echo, he has now said part of it will be paid soon.
Borley tells me him and Paul Guy have lent a lot of it to the club so that will prob go to them tomorrow.

Cheers Annis.
Will 'part of it' be enough to kill the embargo ?
I'm also wondering what has happened to the season ticket money ?
a third of it would have arrived prior to the zebra fiance offer coming in. Has it been used up paying the wages ?
Whats happened to the rest of it.
Sorry, started with one question and come up with 4 more.

Borley wants us promoted, I think we will have the embargo lifted, as they are putting enough in to satisfy them FOR NOW.
Season ticket money I believe has been helping pay the current wages.

As i thought !
Thats not going to go down very well when the tax is (part) paid off and 10000 people expect their £3m to go on players.
I'm not too bothered as long as the club survives, but many others wont be so calm.

On the football leagues own website they state:
any club that falls behind with its employee related payments to HMRC will be subject to a transfer embargo until such time as the debt is cleared.
http://www.football-league.co.uk/footba ... 28_1691419So unless the rules have changes or they were lying then yes we would still be under the embargo if we made a partial payment.

Yes but Jon, I have been told that Borley and Guy will pay enough off to satisfy them.

thats said it does say 'employee related payments' so I guess if we owe them more than 1 type of tax, just paying the employee side would lift it.
