Yeah, exactly! I also love the fact that over the summer we can just forget about it. Nothing like that pre-season buzz as we hit August!

rubbish....

what happens when the grounds rock hard, and people moan about water shortages meaning lower league grounds cant spend 6 hours a day watering the pitch, do the players play in reebok classics or what :lol:

i think thats exactly why we dont win world cups etc.....

because when the kids are off int he summer there are no goal posts up and they dont play when they can develop the most.

bring it on ...fed up of freezing my tits off at some crap games would much rather be down the city in a tshirt ,shorts etc .....how many games are called off in the winter because of the weather

With pitches tomo likely to be frozen locally and games once again off especially at the younger age for development there has to be a case for it.

Would be a great idea to play Junior football during the summer. I coach an Under 13 team and we have not played a fixture since November 6th!!!

We just received an email from the parks department saying all games are on. How do they come to these decisions? Have they not seen the weather???

so we all get up in the morning, maybe travel away to be told frozen pitch - off!
