Why did we buy a Defender from a club with the worse defenders record in the prem ?
and this new guy spent most of his time on the bench cos he couldnt get in the team. Im not really knock this new guy
but I have seen him in 3 games and he didnt look any better than what we have now.

i thought the same sort of thing.....
but give the guy a chance, he will be eager to prove himself. remember we signed roger johnson from wycombe and not many had heard of him

It's a dry market out there for defenders who are...
- Not injury prone.
- Not slow or weak in the air.
- Cheap
- Willing to accept the wage we offer.
- At a price we can afford.
When you take all of those into account you realise there's not actually that much better out there unfortunately. I have faith though. Past records mean nothing. He clearly has ability so I'm willing to give him a chance.

Yer Im all for given a Guy a chance Milly but , this is the run in to the end of the season and our defense must be rock solid to give us any chance of going up. Its let us down all season and its only now we can improve it.

But he did play every game for Maccabi Haifi last season and they only conceded 12 goals in 30 games, albeit in the Israeli league! He played 11 champions league games as well and they managed to keep Juventus to 0-1 in both group games and only lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich in Germany so has experience. Champioship could be just the right level for him

I do fantasy league on premier website and each game 3 bonus points are available for the 3 best players. He got a bonus point against Newcastle so must have ability just not quite good enough to be regular in prem yet.

Im not quite sure what you guys are expecting, just because a player isnt playing at one club doesnt mean hes not a good player. Prime example, our very own jay bothroyd, chris burke, whitts, chopra, heaton.....where would we be if we hadnt got these guys. Holloway is sticking with the team that got him promoted as he said he would at the start of the season.
