Stewards at the CCS

Just wondering the powers the stewards actually have towards misbehaving fans. At the Stoke home game, over next to the stokies, the one steward grabbed this bloke by the collar and pulled him passed 2 people and onto the netting to give him a bollocking, this bloke was literally lying on the netting next to me. This steward was also saying things like "just watch the f*cking game" "stop acting like a wa*ker and watch the game" I just think its a bit extreme to be honest. Surely there should be more reasoning with the fans. One day a steward like that will say it to the wrong drunk bloke and he could have a smack which would cause disruption from watching the game ! So can anybody tell me what powers they actually have ?

Stewards are not allowed to use foul language - they are not allowed to MAN HANDLE people - they are upposed to request the person either sits donw/calmsdown etc and adviseif heir behaviour does notchange they will be evicted fromte stadium

if they cannot deal with a situation they have to get their superior in the meantime thy have the CCTV cameras wathcing them

if this fan gets into a scuffle or tell the stweard to f**k off then they get banned - very unfai

but as a "stweard" from many year the millennium stadium I WANNA KICK THE SHIT out of the CCFC ones at times!
