I have met Gethin Jenkins found him very approachable and apart from the fiasco over banning Gwyns book etc from the Club shop i think he's doing a pretty good job

I think GJ has done a good job since he has been at the club and it's good to hear that you guys have have a good positive meeting with him. But do you think at this moment he is the "Football Man" many of us believe we need at the club.

Not having a go at GJ and I certainly don't want him replaced just asking do you think he is the right man to report to the board on football matters.

I personally think the Gethin we are seeing now is a different one to the one that turned up on the first day. I also think that if he could start over again he may handle things slightly differently, but doesn't that go for all of us.

I was impressed by how switched on but relaxed and comfortable he was, also what I noted was Scott and his team of two coaches were totally at ease and open with him, now that was never the case when we had similar meetings with Pr or Sam when there was staff present, you were well aware they were staff and new their place, not a criticism of Sam or PR, that's just how they were with their employees, and that wasn't the case last night and it made an impression on me, there was a good unity between all parties.

He may be having to learn fast about football matters, but there ain't a Football Chief Executive apprenticeship and whether we like it or not doing a similar role at a rugby club/region is pretty close in many ways.

He is in a position where most decisions he makes will have an outcome and in lot's of those cases some people will be happy and some upset (Annis he ain't going to move the family stand, now chill out )

I think the jury is still out for lot's of people, and it always will be, I don't envy his role and I don't know of many people who could do this job well enough to please everyone,but I for one ain't got a problem with him and hope he can make a good job of it, from what I have seen so far he's a fact learner and strong enough to make his own mind up rather than listen to others.

Onwards sand upwards, lets get some bulletss now for Scotts young guns, you knows it makes sense.
