If Sunderland offer us anything like the £24 million that they are reportedly going to get from Villa for Bent, then I'd snatch their hand off!

If it's anything less than £10 million though, I'd tell them to take a running jump!

So far Jay has said he wants to stay and has already turned down Newcastle. Not sure why he turned down Newcastle but it might be because he does not want to live in the North East, in which case he would be unlikely to go to Sunderland. I reckon if a London team came in for him he would be very tempted as he is a London boy. My hope is we hang on to him and eventually tie him down to a new contract as he had been a great player for us.
