So in our squad the most players we have from one section of a team is Defence, and yet people say we need more defenders? In and ideal world yes, but we cannot afford to spend any more money on defenders when we already have 7 in a squad that only has 3 wingers and 4 strikers?

Lets say we sign 2 defenders, that would mean 9 defenders in a squad with only 3 wingers, and all those defenders are good enough to get in the first team if they do well, so its pointless have the other 3 or 4 defenders because we will never see them!

I'm not saying our defence is good enough, its not, but I don't think we can justify spending money on more defenders when we have so many already!

I think its the quality rather than the numbers.
We need a CB and I think Gypes will then leave

yeah but we can let gyepes go to county or neath or something and bring some one in who's better than what we got

When you look at it differently though we've got 4 strikers for 2 positions, we've got 9 midfielders for 4 positions and only 7 defenders for 4 positions, besides which they are not of the same quality as the strikers and midfielders so we actually do need defenders.

That is a good point granted , but Mcnaughton has proved he can play anywhere across the back 4, Quinn can play Right Back and Centre back (had his best game for us in my opinion at centre back last season).

NO NO Man , Thats quantity !We Need Quality

Koumas is a winger and we ideally need 2 players per position so 8 defenders is ideal. 4 wingers and 4 strikers is fine.

Can we afford to add quality though considering the Quantity of players we have?!

We need a very good central defender and get rid of Blake asap. soz but no good at this level for now. loan him and get him to get some experience

Blake and Naylor ? well Blake isn't good enough, Naylor to inconsistant occasionaly plays well though.
