New LB?

I appreciate that a lot of people are getting frustrated with our current LB situation, but, I can't help think that we have one of the best LB's in the league in Kevin McNaughton, who enjoys playing in that position.
Ok, at the moment he is being utilised in the RB/CB position but surely Darcy and Quinn can cover both and Matthews is a far better player/prospect than Naylor so use Matthews at RB and shift Naughts to LB, where he'll be perfect cover for Bellamy going forward and he can cut inside when he needs to.
Just my own personal opinion, but I'd rather see it happen than splash out transfer fees or loan fees for a LB and CB when we can spend twice as much on one player.
I know I may be stating the obvious frustration of many but I haven't seen this subject matter on here so I thought I'd put it out there!!

didnt he play left back start of the season and was man of the match ?

Yeah he did, with Darcy at Rb who I thought looked really good, running past players and covering back well.
I just wish DJ could see what apparently everybody else in the stadium can!
Plus what do you think of David Wheater as a CB, it looks like Boro are willing to part with him for around £2m. Personally I think he could be a cracking aquisition, solid in the air, great tackler and plays with plenty of heart, granted he's not as quick as some but still quicker than Hudson and Gypes.
