Wales Allocation Results

We can today confirm the ticket allocation results for our away match against Wales in Cardiff.
Wales v England
Saturday 26 March 2011
Venue: Millennium Stadium, Cardiff
Kick Off: 3.00pm
Ticket Price: £25, £15
For the Wales match there were just over 12,000 englandfans Gold members who applied for the 7500 tickets available; therefore it was necessary to use the ‘caps system’ to allocate the tickets. Members who applied on 15 caps or more were guaranteed tickets (70%), whilst members on less than 15 caps were placed in a ballot for the remaining tickets (30%).
Note: As there were 395 tickets leftover from the 70% allocation, it was necessary to do a mini-ballot amongst the 446 members on 14 caps who applied. Therefore some 14 cappers were included in the 70% category.
englandfans Gold members who applied in time can check their allocation result via the 'Tickets & Matches' section, if you have been allocated a ticket your name will be listed in the ‘Ticket Guaranteed’ section. Those members who were unsuccessful will see their names listed under the ‘Application Unsuccessful’ section.
Please note that everyone in your group may not have the same allocation result, as some members were guaranteed tickets in the 70% allocation.
How to claim your ticket
If you have been successful and still wish to attend the match you will need to claim your ticket between midday on Friday 21 January until 3.00pm on Monday 24 January 2011. You can purchase your ticket by calling the englandfans 24-hour Ticket Line on 0844 847 2010 or alternatively log onto http://www.TheFA.com/Tickets
Any tickets that go unclaimed will be made available to unsuccessful gold members in the second chance sale on a first-come-first served basis from 10.00am on Tuesday 25 January.
Remember, when you are purchasing your ticket you need to quote your FAN number. If you are claiming tickets for more than one member you will need to be able to quote the FAN numbers and dates of birth of each member of your group.
Please note group bookings are limited to a maximum of four englandfans GOLD members per group and each person would need to have been successful in the ticket ballot. If you wish to travel as a group please book together as you will not be able to add to an existing booking at a later date.
In accordance with the englandfans Rules of Membership; please note that tickets are for personal use only and are not transferable under any circumstances.

having just scanned through that, it seems a bit of a ballache and alot easier for england fans to get tickets in the wales end!!

I know I had to apply about two months ago but this is the norm for most away games, you also have to send in pre and post travel to guarantee your caps - it is almost a full time job !
