Bothroyd will stay! It is too early and too big a risk for premier league teams to be gambling on him! And I don't think he'd go to any other championship club at this time, he will see what Cardiff citys future holds for him, in my opinion.

Surely a player is only worth what another club will pay for him? So in Bothroyd's case at the moment that is £0.

But if you're going by realistic estimated valuations then Bothroyd is worth £7500k tops at the moment with him available for free in the summer.

He's got 2 1/2 years left on his contract and I can't see us accepting anything under £4m for him in the summer if we don't go up.
