Got 3 tickets for 117 for the Stoke match, just wondering are the stewerds annoying as feck and keep trying to get you to sit down there?
Talking to a taxi driver yesterday who sits in 116, said they're fecking annoying.

They're VERY annoying - especially the female one. However, if everyone just stays standing, there shouldn't be a problem. We shouldn't back down

the stewards have calmed down a bit lately and ask u to sit down once then leave u alone. thats been the case for the preston and leeds games when ive been up there anyway

daf, the stewards are annoying trust me. they hassle you bigtime, i dont know how many tickets we have sold for stoke but if its not a big crowd then doubt they will be that fussy...i will be joining you in 117

Could not agree more, there are people around you (like my dad) who cannot stand a full 90 minutes and we have bought tickets around that area so we can enjoy the game from the comfort of our seats.
If you wish to stand why dont you just go in the canton stand where there is no issue. If these idiotic people continue to stand next year I will be transferring my tickets as it is an inconvenience.
P.S. We sing as loud as anyone, we chant as loud as anyone but we can do this and be comfortable at the same time.

For the two comments above - I can totally understand that - and I take that into consideration wherever I stand in the stadium.
That said - and again, I'm not meant to offend anyone here or anything - Couldn't the "less-abled"/"vertically challenged" people get seats nearer the front, as not to cause for conflicts of interest between standing and sitting?

I think they are fair to you, some of us want to sit down and watch the game you know
But in all seriousness, they tell us too sit, we sit for about 10 seconds then remain standing for the rest of the game. Good Job.

2 forward and one to my right will look out for you, or have we met already ??? in the ninian or on a forum bus ??
Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:41 pm
Nope never met any of you lot

Never been to an away game

you may've seen me at the ninian before our 2-1 victory over weeds (hahahahha)
But atm, i have to replace the ticket , cause despite me asking ccfc if i could collect the ticket at the gate, they still decided to send it through the post which then led to my three idiotic daschunds chewing it to pieces
Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:46 pm
their not happy with your choice of seat then lol
Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:47 pm
Aye

f*cking daschunds are a nuisance, they get away with anything

the only reason why they do is cause they're so bloody cute and stupidly funny

You make a good and logical point, Dafydd....
Ironically, I sit near the front and there are a couple (one in particular in the FRONT row) that stand up and then cause a chain reaction....so it doesn't really work that way
Like you, I much preferred to stand, as in the old stadium, but the new rules are there for both health and safety reasons and the comfort of the MAJORITY of fans....
Obviously, during 'certain' phases of the game and when goading the opposition supporters after a goal, standing is perfectly acceptable and is to be encouraged!!
Enjoy the game....
