Cardiff are considering a move to bring back West Ham defender Danny Gabbidon who has failed to agree a new contract with the Premier League club and will be free in the summer.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who checks the bbc gossip column the night before 
They say never go back to an old club, but I think he could be very good for us. Fits the injured profile though

Aye i got the bbc thing with my phone allways check
I think we can look for better even tho loved Gabbs down here when he was on fire.

Well he hasn't been injured this season, so fingers crossed his problems are behind him. Would love him back!!

Too much of a risk just like Riggot and why sign a guy in August knowing full well he cant play until December ? If Gabbs can prove fitness then yes otherwise Id stay well clear

I'm no West Ham expert but I believe he's been fit all season, apart from one minor niggle, and has played a lot of 1st team football. So hopefully he's over the groin/stomach injury that caused him so much trouble. It is also indicative of his improved fitness that he is considering playing for Wales again.
Depending on the price/wages I would suggest that Gabbidon is probably the best prospect of all those CBs we've been linked with.Woodgate is by far the best player but in Gabbidon you have a player who would stroll around the Championship even now and given he's out of contract in the summer he should be relatively cheap.
I would say go for this one, his pace at the back (even after all these years) is still way above what we currently have at CB
