I agree general, in my opinion the SPL is at best Championship standard, so if we were going to get players from that league, they should be the some of the best in that league.

Well Burke, McNaughton, Charlie Adam and other former SPL players were nowhere near the best in that league

Chris Burke, Gavin Rae, Ross McCormack, Steve Thompson, Ross Wallace, all proven to be better in the Championship than they looked in the SPL.

Sweeping generalisations will get you nowhere lads, we've clearly got a scouting team with an eye for Scottish talent.

Don't write players off before they've even signed.

there are plenty of gems in the SPL..

its a good way of getting solid players at pratcically half maybe even less than the price in english football
