Just paid £1.33 per litre for diesel

£1.42 on Llantrisant Road by danescourt for diesel.

As soon as they changed it from gallon to litres it all went mad - like decimilisation all over again. You knew where you were with gallons.

A tanner for a bag of salt and vinegar crisps and overnight it was "that'll be 2 and a half new pennies sonny". :old:

ps. Why are we buying petrol in litres yet beer in pints? :?:

The Texaco garage around the corner from me is more expensive than the services in magor on the M4. It costs me £68 now to fill up a 2 litre golf TDI. this time last year it was only around £53. The government have got to do something about this. Fuel is the biggest area that the government can help people out by lowering it's cost as it will lower the costs for most things. But then they'll miss out on the taxes! f*cking hate all politicians!!

Seems Lille Caerphilly is the way forward. Why is there such a price difference in areas. When the garages are owned by the same company?

Cos there is loads of stations in and around Caerphilly so they got to keep it as low as they can. Competition for each other cos they are so close together
