stoke city away

Sun Jan 09, 2011 2:35 pm

This is the first away match i have been to with my wife and 10 yr old son, the singing and support were second to none but my wife has been put off from going again as the behavour of lads around her stamping on the seat's and breaking them even her own seat. It was just mindless vandalism and giving the club and the fans a bad name. What sort of example are they setting for my son. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I agree there were a lot of young fans getting to excited, but I Kept My 9 yr old Daughter well away from that area.

to be honest when i was a young lad and my old man took me down, what made me want to go again/ get hooked on the city was the trouble, but hay everyones diffrent

if we were a boring club like say norwich, the excitment wouldn't have been there and lots wouldn't have bothered, the youngsters want to wear the gear, want to get involved , lots of fairwater, ely, docks and valleys would only attend if it was likley to go off

each to thier own

Each to their maybe.

But absolutely no place in football for that nobbish behaviour. Was totally pathetic at the end of the game, breaking seats etc. No wonder we get so many restrictions when we go away. These twats should be rooted out and banned for life.

All was civilised from where we were standing mate, must have been further along the stand. Noticed a lot more youngsters than usual.

I saw 2 seats thrown by Cardiff 'fans' but they only ended up hitting other Cardiff fans (not too far in front of us either!) as they couldn't throw far enough. We really do have some idiots following the club.

Sorry you are right there, forgot about that. Pretty daft as they were only ever going to land on our fans. Don't get me started about what happened outside.

As Claire has confirmed, seats were thrown, I only saw one myself but could see and hear a group of our supporters trying to break many more. It's frustrating when the support had been tremendous throughout the game, and following on from there being no arrests at the home game against Leeds.

Until the club stop the morons from travelling then we will never clear the bad rep we have. Which is why we constantly have to suffer endless restrictions.

Don't really see the need for any sarcasm Annis, I thought this board was open to all opinions - mine is that troublemakers should be banned from attending football.
