Any transfer news???

Does any 1 know of any recent news about the likes of Vaughan or the defenders that we badly need? Or do you think its guna be last minute deals at the end of the month if any signings at all?

still a while to go yet but bit worried now hodgson has left liverpool as wilson was a loan target for us, so dont know whats going to happen there,

I just hope we are speaking to aston villa about getting curtis davies on loan!! Lets hope gethin jenkins can step up and negotiate the vaughan deal as everton want money up front but we dont have the cash so fingers crossed jenkins can pull this one off!!

Absolutely agree with Curtis Davies!

If we are willing to pay wages, but not transfer fees then surely a loan of a player of that calibre is not a big ask. He did a real good job at Leicester too.

Another one, Danny Shittu. Available it seems, did well for Millwall. Again probably quite big wages but no fee! Wolves are said to be sniffing, so puts in to perspective how well he's done at his stint so far. Check Millwalls clean sheets rate when he's been playing - rather impressive.

As for a winger, I don't see the point in struggling to get Routledge when Adam Hammill (who is a player on the up) is available for 500K and would have lower wage demands.

For me then, that would be it, or perhaps a LB - but they are hard to come by. Although, Kev and Matthews can play there if Quinn keeps it up at RB.
