their has been a few over the years. . .
biggest for me has to be leon jeanne , that lad had so much talent an no doubt would of been a wales star if he never messed up.
Also nathan cadette once a decent player, ended up playing sunday league and saturday cardiff district league.
Andy campbell, pacey striker started off so great ended up in scottish league and after that signed in the conference!
and scott young, Best ever welsh player to have not played for wales?

Lee Jarman springs to mind, tipped to be a future welsh star & faded into obscurity.

Not a massive one as such but I remember Joe Jacobson making his debut in the last game of a season... possibly Norwich on Earnie's return.
Either way, he played really well and the Bob Bank loved him and then Jones let him go that summer. Massive anticlimax.

Leon Jeanne was the biggest waste of tallent in British football let alone Cardiff, he could have been as good as he wanted to be. He could have made Defoe look like a nobody, but then that's what happens when you mess with the "d" word.
As for Scott, correct me if I'm wrong but he did play for Wales.

Jason Bowen, what a talent, but what a prick of a bloke.

I cant remember his first name. I think it was Slinky-Jinky Pinky-Minky.
but Schwinkendorff was THE new Beckenbauer. He was Bobby Moore
Mike England and Alan Hansen rolled into one. Until you put him on a
football pitch. What a waste
Leon Jeanne really, so gifted its untrue

Langley was a shame aswell.
Real good for QPR, then showed in some games real quality for us.
However, talkabout hot or cold and then all the injuries seems to have finished him good and proper.
