H's a big lad, so wins his headers in the full back position and has a lovely aggressive streak that is missing from our back line/midfield. Tackles well and gets stuck right in.
Doesnt make any effrot to go forward, hence strengthening us defensively.
Means we can move Kev to CB without losing much in terms of height in our back 4 as a whole
However, he's slow and offers no attacking support and his passing isn't great.

Looked a different player last season against Leicester when he had arguably the best 90 mins a City defender had in the shirt last season.
Good luck to the lad if he gets a run in the team now. His two performances this week suggests he should.

I for one could never understand the criticism he got. I think it was one of those things that just started and everyone jumped on the bandwagon. Pretty much the same way Keogh was getting slated in some quarters for no apparent reason.
