I've always supported him, because I have sense like everyone else who has supported him, and the team.
Staying with him was always going to be less of a risk than sacking him, how you lot can't see that is beyond me.
So yeah

great result tonight the whole team stepped up!! showed lots of passion!! but lets see how we go with the next few games and see if we get some descent players in!! jury still out on dj though!! we all know there are still issues there!!

If we stick with him, we will fail to get promoted, it's as simple as that!

That's great how you can see into the future mate. Fair play.

No need to see into the future just look at the past with DJ
It's always the same. We get close but ultimately fail.
Great result tonight though. The team needed it. Let's just hope we can put a run together.

Supported City virtually all my life. Since I was 6 in fact.
Even though you follow Cardiff, you can't really go around saying you're a supporter when the only thing you seem to support is the idea of us failing.

Nope, was there for the full game. Sorry to disappoint.
Unfortunately for you, tonight's game changed absolutely zero - one game won't.
It's still 11 pts out of 36 after all. We beat Coventry - then what happened?
Now, today's game for me epitomised the problems DJ has.
First half, superb, played them off the park.
Second - Leeds changed things, made subs, played at higher tempo. Granted, scored a superb goal, but they looked the better side then.
Cracking goal by Chops, good win, but...
Yet again an opposition manager made changes that improved their team. Jones YET AGAIN failed to adapt during the game to those changes. Yet again, we gave an inconsistent performance - great at times, poor at others.

So if somebody points out DJ's history indicates us failing... somebody thus actively supports us failing?
Logic there does not compute...

I f*cking hate Dave Jones but I stayed and backed him and the team for 90 minutes and clapped them all off.
I want Jones to go, but I also want City to go up and if he makes me eat my words I'll be the first one to admit was wrong about him.
However, I dont think I'm wrong about him and he is not the man to take this club forward.
FACT.

Whether you wanted Jones out or not, I think it's quite obvious now that he's here to stay after tonight.
If we'd have failed to get a result then I think the pressure would have continued to mount, but the boys came out and gave a great performance (overall), which eases the atmosphere a bit. It will take quite a few more bad results for that pressure to rise again, and by that time it'll be close to the end of the season, so I doubt even then he'd get the sack.
Best thing to do is to give the Jones, the boys & the club 100% support, and hopefully our top flight dream will come true.

At the end of the day I just want us promoted. If that's with Jones, great, if not, great. I will support whoever the manager but this season has a deja vu like the previous few seasons. I can just smell a fail at the final hurdle. Even though we won 2-1, the problems were still evident.
Naylor getting skinned, Oli getting caught in possession, our final ball majoritively lacking, not enough energy, Whittingham deciding he doesn't fancy it for 89 minutes. These things might have managed to escape punishment tonight but 9/10 times they're not. Tonight was a good win but it hasn't healed my doubts about the attitude of the players and the shape of our tactics/ formation.

Congrats on missing the point.
Continue the points form we're currently on and spot the trend...

Appreciate the point we've had enough doom and f*cking gloom over the last few months just trying to be positive
We can still be great done Leeds 6-1 on agg.
I see two great performances tonight and Coventry. Two shit ones inbewteen.
I think they had a wake up call and put out tonight. Jury's out until Nowrwich but I think (hope) we've turned a corner

SPot on there and Jones could do nothing to halt their 2nd half supremecy...I'm still VERY sceptical

In fairness, there wasn't alot on the bench to make changes with. What changes would you like to have seen him make?
I thought the change he made to move Whitts to the right hand side played a big part in the winning goal. Whitts had plenty of time to pick his pass which he wouldn't have had in the middle.

Really?
Well that was a very weak Leeds team and although we should have been 3 up at HT we nearly blew it. DJ was so concenred about that he brought on McPhail for Burke which basically told us he was playing for a draw. A draw agaisnt a weak team we were playing at home, no intention of going for a winner, thats what home teams do.
Lets be honest, the winning goal came from nowhere. Once they got back into the game we never looked like scoring again. Perhaps that why DJ made that substitution, a draw to save is job.

Aye, I made an opinion so that does warrant a ban.
