This flu bug! whose had it?

Tue Jan 04, 2011 11:51 am

BLOODY HELL

So Weak! Like I just had an operation!
Head swimming and trippy, bordering on delirium!
Craving darkness and warmth!
Permenant tickly itch on my throat, nose and eyes

So rough! added to that my patheticness and wingeing when I am ill!

Should I drive to the game tonight? Want to, missus wont let me!
She is right as always!

Ian Gwyn Hughes and Ratcliffe it is then!
Bluebirds!

I've had an average cold for about 2-3 months now so luckily not quite coming down with a full one yet. Just felt moderately grim for a prolonged period of time. It's a nasty one going around though. I know loads of people who have been ill for a long time and are finding it hard to recover.

I'm much the same today though luckily my head isn't spinning. Nice 4 hour train journey down to Cardiff won't help either!!

Have a word with some local fans not showing up tonight, they could do with a dose of your commitment Dave.

I'm missing my first home game tonight for a long, long time. Doctor's advised me to stay in and to keep out of contact of people. My dad and brother have caught it off me and it's heartbreaking to see them suffering. My brother is still currently in bed and it's 5.55pm. Both of us are on tamiflu and it's the worst we've ever felt. I didn't go out for new years eve either, been feeling awful ever since the Watford trip. It's a shame some people are to irresponsible to look after theirselves with the knock on effect it's had on everyone else catching the germs and suffering :(

Bloody hell, everyone is going down with it! Seriously, get the flu jab next year. I have had it 2 years in a row because my brother has an illness and his immune system is non existent. This year the swine flu vaccine was mixed in with the flu jab. Only one needle :ayatollah: A lot of people in work have had it. They say it doesn't protect you from bad colds, but I havnt had one at all, and I'm normally pretty suseptible (or however you spell it) to them.

If you work with children, old people or anyone who is ill, cancer, diabetes etc or any of your family have an illness or if you have elderly relatives living with you, they'll give it to you. If not, then I think you can pay to have it done. I went down to my Dr explained my situation and they just did it. Didn't ask for proof or anything.
