At least in the bad times the players had a go even though they were not that talented and we respected them for that. If this lot of bottlers tried as hard as those lot from years ago we would be almost uncatchable by now. problem is we have a clown as a manager and they dont want to play for him, well thats what it looks like to me anyway.

If Damon Searle was left back Saturday the wurzels may have scored the first. The second may have been from a free kick after Searle or Psycho flattened the lad crossing the ball  but it would't have been a copy cat of the first

Highest league we've ever been in? Shoe string in terms of transfer fees maybe but not wages. I was totally there in the old 4th division mate, got stacks of photos and friends to prove it. I probably look back at those days through rose-tinted specs, they were great probably more for the friends I made that are still my friends now than how good the team was but I bloody adored the club, still do, I am constantly stating that I appreciate DJ for taking me to Wembley three times but if I am going to praise him when things go right then I am going to blame him (as well as the players) when things go wrong.

In the old days the players were not good enough no matter how hard they tried and I was paying £3 per game for the privelage, (I remember moaning that Clemo had upped the ante to £4 for the Aarhuus game  ) today, the players are more than good enough (well most of them) and they do not always put the effort in and the manager must take a lot of the responsibility for that.

I would never want to be one of those sides that changes their manager every three minutes, I believe that we have improved because we stayed with the same man and backed him despite the odd blip and I think he more than earned that but this recent run is looking more damaging than anything we've witnessed before. I believe DJ has learnt as much as he is going to from his mistakes and that we are not going to go up this year which I think financially is essential.

I can never remember a Cardiff team so willingly out fought as we were at the Liberty last season and then at CCS this ('cept maybe for that game we lost 3-1 when the Jacks were banned back at Ninian Pk in the '90's). I want a team that wants to play for Cardiff as much as I want to watch them but when you have a manager that has no respect or admiration for the club then how can you expect the players to be anything other than overpaid mercenaries?

If I am wrong about all this and DJ does it, I will be the happiest humble pie eater on the planet. Just don't think for one minute that because we are unhappy now we obviously didn't witness a previously shambolic run club and were not pulling our hair out back then too.
