Has anyone considered it might be between the players who ARE good enough to take the next step and those who AREN'T good enogh??
Think about it. Cosy contract, easy money, settled home life....why would they WANT City to go up??
I know for FACT that one or two players REFUSED to ship out in the summer because the offers they had were either too poor or simply not long enough to make it worth getting off their backsides, even if it would mean first team football....
