**CCFC AT A JUNCTION- TUESDAY NIGHT IMPORTANT**

Sun Jan 02, 2011 9:33 pm

I have had time to quietly reflect on my opinion that DJ should go and i have changed my mind.

I am giving DJ Tuesday Night. If we win Tuesday, with the new singings also coming in, i feel we will kick on and get back to winning ways. Cardiff City are at a junction at the moment with two signs. One sign points left towards MIDTABLE HEARTACHE and the other sign says OVER MY DEAD BODY-PROMOTION HERE WE COME.

I think Tuesdays night is that important, it will decide which direction we will go. My honest opinion is i think we will win 2-1 with results going our way putting us back into second place.

Here are my reasons to support DJ and to keep him;
1. A few Christmas ago, DJ was in the same position, everybody wanted him out. He turned things around and got us to fa cup final. We got a better squad this time though and can add in January.

2. Last season, we made the play offs and COULD have got automatic promotion IF WE HAD ADDED in january. We got into the play offs with many injuries from January through to April and our squad was already very small, yet we made it.

3. Jay Bothroyd has personally twitted support for DJ, (which he didnt have too) calling it ridiculous if he was to go. Bothroyd blames the players, so why shouldnt we?

4. I dont think Cardiff City would attract the right type of manager to the club and feel all the current squad is DJ's squad.

Dont get me wrong, i am angry at the moment and worried that we will keep dropping points. HOWEVER i am also a believer. I hope DJ gets us out of this and for ONE LAST TIME...I AM SAYING "IN DJ I TRUST".....Screw the last chance up against leeds DJ...and i am back on the "I WANT YOU OUT" brigade with the majority of this forum.

Everybody deserves a chance, but Dave...THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE WITH ME. Dont screw up!! I have backed you since day one. Please make sure we turn right at the junction and go marching towards the premiership.

We all need to stick together. Cardiff City to me is a family and a religion to all of us, lets support the boys Tuesday and regroup on Wednesday to discuss Dave again.

The lad took us to Wembley 3 times, led us into a new culture change at the club for the better, gave us 0-6 bristol, 0-4 leeds, 2-1 swansea, memorable wins for the club. Lets at least give him one more chance.

EXACTLY....and Carl said it earlier "BE CAREFULL WHAT YOU WISH FOR"....

NO MATTER HOW ANGRY YOU ARE AT DJ OR HOW PERSONALLLY YOU HATE HIM......THERES ALWAYS THAT CHANCE WE WILL FALL APART...THE WHOLE CLUB.....A CLUB THAT IS ALREADY FRAGILE IN MY OPINION.

Jones got his own personal way of being a manager. He often praises our supporters to the media but never gives much away personally. We gotta respect this is his way of managing.

BUT if he was more like holloway, more friendlier to approach we'd all love him!

I know how you feel. I feel the same way about him. i really like the bloke and it makes me cringe when he has a swipe at the media, buts in when reporters are trying to ask him a question speaking over them.Makes me mad because i want him to be liked, but you cant change somebody.

He has been funny sometimes , he took the piss out of the brian dermot, reading manager;s glasses with the bothroyd goal which made me laugh, said if you loose a game in south wales derby you swear youve shot the pope, you win the game you become the pope". He has his funny ways but hes no Ian Holloway.

Hey COULD BE WORSE, WE COULD HAVE AVRAM GRANT as our manager

Sorry but i still feel the same. Jones has lost the plot with selections , vendetas, tactics. And he never admits he is wrong. never!! which is why he will never learn from those mistakes. FOR ME THE ONLY WAY FORWARD IS WITH SOMEONE ELSE AT THE HELM

Good positive post :ayatollah: :ayatollah: We are at a crossroads & i think tuesdays game is massive for us.I personally think we're better off & sticking for the time being.Have a look at West Ham & Fulham, both in a similiar situation with results, the Hammers stuck with Grant & Fulham changed personel, at present it looks like West Ham have made the right decision. Unless there's someone out there who could step straight in & do the job i can't see the point.
