Screw Septic, plenty of actual Irish teams to support that don't rely on bigotry that is no longer relevant I.e. The mighty bit o' red Sligo Rovers.
Rangers will be back.
West Brit? Nah. Just admiration for a proper club like Rangers.
Mon Jan 03, 2011 9:25 am
yeah right.
Rangers have of course always been free of bigotry havent they?

Read what I said alfie. There are plenty of Irish teams without bigotry in their fanbase for 'Irish' people to support, suggests a few fans have very ulterior motives rather than just liking a club for what it is. Can you say rangers is the same? Most unionist teams in northern ireland have a political element, which I would say is part of their identity? Didn't mention anything about Rangers not having bigots - frankly though, it doesn't bother me. I actually find some of the stuff Celtic fans come out with as far more offensive to me as someone with Irish blood than 'the sash' etc.

I hate the minority of celtic fans that chant pro IRA bile but frankly i hate Rangers forelock tugging fan base with their fawning love of the royal family and anti catholic bigotry, even more.
