TUESDAY NIGHT TEAM

Sun Jan 02, 2011 6:35 pm

in my opinion we need to sharpen up and we do have options at the back despite them being not so good options they could work

if all are fit i'd line up like this

GK- Heaton ( rumour has it marshall very bad influence on team)

RB- Quinn ( give him a chance, has pace probably the desire to prove what he can do also)
CB- hudson (UNFORTUNATELY)
CB- riggott (IF FIT)
LB- SUPER KEV

this option kills the outpaced and poor naylor, gives us more pace and probably more width sometyhing we are lacking at the moment, some would say matthews but i disagree the lad looks bewildered in recent games, some will say due to DJ critiscm but we all take critiscm, you gotta learn from your mistakes and grow a pair, adam isn;t developing but he does need games so DJ should send him out on loan

DM- ollifinjana ( OLLY plays well here shielding the defence and threading passes forward to the more attacking midfielders hence why him and drinkwater where fantastic 1st few games, since hes played more central he looks lost its not his natural game as he aint a creative midfielder more of a guy to break up play and feed attacking players

RW- burke
LW-bellamy
CM- Whitts ( chort of form but mcphailure isn;t the answer, too negative, silly fouler, and why oh whay hes classed as creative i don;t know ionly passes sideways and backwards)
AM- chopra
CF- BOTHROYD/PARKIN

this line up worked well 1st 8 games WHY DID DJ change it???
it will work again, providing us with width pace and the defensive platform in olly that we so badly need right now??

feel free to agree or disagree but i reckon this side is balanced throughout plus its harder to break down a 5 man midfield

the way the defence is at the moment i would give geypes & riggot a go together & see how they fair, cant get any worse!! (obviously if he is fit!!)

I hope to god bothroyd is fit as we just aint the same without him!!

and if we can beat wolves & blackpool to the signing of shittu by monday even better!!

I would def include Parkin!

I think its time to give Matthews another run in. We produced a "potential arsenal captain" as I've heard pundits say, maybe Matthews could be a future Cardiff captain.

Good team. I'd like to see koumas in there for Whitts tho.
Also Bellers won't play 2 games in a week so maybe Whitts will just go on the left.
Would love to see Matthews played on the wing tho. Great ability going forward but not good enough at defending

Heaton

Mcnaughton
Hudson
Gypes
Riggot

the thing with adam matthews is i think DJ agrees with the fans ie adam isn;t a full back, i say this as DJ is reluctant to drop naylor and i don't think its cos he LIKES naylor as you say we just don;t have many options do we???
only other full back is quinn! who i would defo use and switch super kev to left back

so would all those people who say play matthews on the wing please suggest where he would fit into the team when whitts, burke and bellamy are all fit???????????????????????????????

i think he wouldn't now would he!!!!
please back up silly statements with decent ideas before saying dave jones hates matthews cos he doesn't play him, you say hes a winger lets face it he aint gonna play on our wings unless burke leaves whitss breaks a leg and we have a backlog of fixtures so that bellers can;t play every game,

the only chance he has is at full back where as you all also say he looks uncomfortable, obviously DJ knows this also hence why matthews only plays when we have no other option!!!!!!!

Re: TUESDAY NIGHT TEAM

just to add young matthews has potential and i'd like him to go away on loan for a season!!

if he plays NAYLOR he mentally ill! :)
