you know they cost us £50,000-00 per week between them not including bonuses dont you? thats £2.6 million per season just on wages add on bonuses etc and we are talking crazy money for 3 over the hill crocks - Robbie Fowler made 13 glorious appearances for us
JFH 36 appearances most of which were either coming off early or coming on late as a substitiute and Sinclair 21 appearances again the same either coming off early or on as a late sub. They were only here for a final pay day - would I have signed them? not if it was my money going in their pockets. Then of course theres the big pay off JFH received at the end as well - madness.

pray tell me what other achievements has he made as a player or manager? I'll tell you. He took stockport up via the play off as a manager and won diddly squat as a player - not bad for 35 years in football

he got them up though, and was given next to nothing to spend whe they were in prem , also promoted teams didn't recieve the amounts of money promoted teams do today
