are you really trying to say you wouldnt have signed the likes of fowler, jfh and trevor sinclair. you could say they didn't out the greatest, but as they say, hindsight is a wonderful thing...

exactly everyone was happy when we signed these just didn't work out ,

another example fergie signed diego forlan he couldn't hit a barn door for utd, look at him now , my point every manager makes good and bad signings, some work out some don't

What the three amigos?   you know they cost us £50,000-00 per week between them not including bonuses dont you? thats £2.6 million per season just on wages add on bonuses etc and we are talking crazy money for 3 over the hill crocks - Robbie Fowler made 13 glorious appearances for us  JFH 36 appearances most of which were either coming off early or coming on late as a substitiute and Sinclair 21 appearances again the same either coming off early or on as a late sub. They were only here for a final pay day - would I have signed them? not if it was my money going in their pockets. Then of course theres the big pay off JFH received at the end as well - madness.

knowing how they turned out no , but knowone has crystal ball , if wehad got promoted with them you would not have cared how much they cost. every player is a gamble in my eyes some work out some don't .

yeah spent the most money in Wolves history doing so and promptly took them straight back down the following season    pray tell me what other achievements has he made as a player or manager? I'll tell you. He took stockport up via the play off as a manager and won diddly squat as a player - not bad for 35 years in football    - As you can tell I don't rate him

Jones wanted Fowler signed after meeting him in a f*cking bar in Florida!

No, I wouldn't have signed any of those. After a season, you'd have had to have replaced all three anyway, so high wages for a seasons benefit.

Hardly the kind of deals anyone with a brain cell would want to do at a cash strapped club.

he got them up though, and was given next to nothing to spend whe they were in prem , also promoted teams didn't recieve the amounts of money promoted teams do today

He took them up in 2002/03 with a £7 million transfer pot (the biggest in Wolves history - £7 million back then was a hell of a lot of money) - then took them straight back down, which in my eyes is failure - which is why he was sacked.
