OK so Dave Jones goes what happens???????

Still undecided on keeping Dave Jones but 8 points from 30 is shocking and if we were lower down the League there is little doubt he would be gone by now. We cannot carry on the way we are going and having travelled to both Watford and Bristol and watched 2 dire perfomances it is obvious there is something wrong in the dressing room because both Watford and Bristol were hungrier than us and when they lost the ball did everything possible to win it back.

The minimum we should expect from our players is that they play with passion and committment where was it yesterday in a local Derby FFS. Also a lot of supporters seem to think we have our best squad ever and we should therefore walk this league but i don't believe we have the best squad and i believe the following players are not good enough for a side seeking promotion:

Naylor - Very poor gets caught out of position and way too slow.

Rae - Just not enough quality or any pace.

Blake - Gone backwards and backs off players running at him see Bristols 3rd goal yesterday.

Gypres - Too slow, easily turned gives away free kicks and penalties

Koumas - Still got plenty of ability but no work rate or desire.

Keogh - Works hard but theres just no end product. Compare him with Stead yesterday another player who works his socks off but also offers a end product 2 assists yesterday and as got a good few goals this season.

So theres 6 players there 5 who have featured on a fairly regular basis this season who IMO are just not good enough you can then add to that another 2 squad players who seem injury prone in Riggot and Drinkwater not questioning their ability but they are no good to us unless they are on the field

Suddenly our squad is far from the best in the Championship and as everyone knows our defense is far from good enough.

However to go back to my original question if Dave Jones goes what happens does it mean Bothroyd and Bellamy will leave as both have expressed their support for DJ previously because if we lose both them then we can kiss promotion goodbye

Not saying that we should keep DJ but will Bothroyd and Bellamy stay and play for a new Manager what does everyone think????

I can see your point. Personally, I have never been for changing a manager mid season as change is always disruptive for those involved, but disruption can be good and bad.

However, Bellamy and Bothroyd don't really have a choice because they are contracted to the club.

DJ goes, we get a good manager who can organise, work to our strengths and cover our weaknesses.

Well if he went knowing our luck we'd get Roberto Martinez (even though it may look like its started to go well an wigan) or Paulo Sousa (no thanks).

But hey! this allways a twist in the tale, perhaps this is the twist, but hey what ever happens I'll still be a bluebird until the day I die, if I'm watching city in the premier league brilliant, league 1 I'll be disappointed but I'll still be there.

It depends how they recruit, if they get a good manager then we will obviously develop, progress as a club and get promoted, if they recruit poorly then we will move backwards. Those that say getting rid of Jones solves all the problems are mistaken, just as those that prophesise doom & gloom should we release Mr Jones from his contract are too. Personally, having been a fan of Jones until the last season at Ninian whereby doubts began creeping in that were greatly exacerbated by his recruitment policy that summer, allied with his notoriously poor tactical nous, I feel his position is fast becoming untenable as there can be no doubt with the calibre of player athis disposal, Cardiff should be running away with automatic promotion, if not the title.
