A TIME FOR STRONG LEADERSHIP

We need some direction because at the moment we are like headless chickens on and off the pitch. I think with all these transfer rumours falling apart at the seams it may be that VT is not actually backing up his pledge to provide the funds for the players that were promised.

Dave Jones will obviously feel frustrated and angry about that and it would appear to have rubbed off on all the staff. Not making excuses for DJ because at times he can be his own worse enemy and with his type of man management, as I see it he's a strong stubborn leader and sometimes that is needed, but when that ain't working and you need everyone on your side and pulling together and obviously he ain't getting that.

It's OK at times being a "its my way or the highwayman" but when it goes wrong the buck as to stop with him. Calling for his head may be an instant short term fix and direct pressure away from VT, b ut somewhere along the way VT will have to show his hand.

I said at the very start of all this that I welcomed VT but I also questioned how he would react if things took a wrong turn, people with that much money and power are used to getting their own way, he can get his own way now, but he will need to spend to do it, watch this space.
