i personally think, if newcastle are willing to let him go and the fee is agreed...... dave jones will move heaven and earth to get the deal done, we all know hes been a long term admirer of the player . we have been told dj has full control of the club, so this makes it all the more likely that a deal on the payment structure will be reached..... thoughts???

Newcastle want the £2million up front but VT won't sanction it, it is down now to City;s negotiation skills.

Personally I would be surprised if it came off, simply because, at present, Newcastle want the money up front.

So it seems VT is funding the Vaughan transfer and part of the Routledge transfer and the rest will be down to Jones' negotiating skills and/or players leaving the club to fund the deal?
