Another problem with our side....

Wed Dec 29, 2010 11:29 am

It was glaringly obvious particularly at Watford yesterday but I have thought this for some time........

We hardly have any offensive players who can go past people at pace/trickery. Burkey clearly wasn't himself yesterday so he couldn't do it. Whitts isn't quick enough to do it, Keogh checks back everytime (Probably turning round to look for his ability mind!), Chops can but I find he runs into too many blind alleys with the ball.

Bascially without Jay and Bellers we can't get around the back of teams so we are far to easy to defend against especially if Burkey isn't on his game like yesterday.

Another thing why dont have anyone that breaks from the middle of the park. How come every other team seems to? Whitts has got deeper and deeper as the season has gone on, just like Ledley did last season. Maybe it is tactical but either way its crap!

Didn't think Adam Matthews was that bad yesterday considering, really hope he finally gets a run after Naylor's woeful display.

Prefer Heaton to Marshall he inspires more confidence for me. Hudson, Naylor just not good enough and Whitts could do with a spell on the bench, looks far to assured of his place for my liking.

Lastly why oh why was Scotlands Stevie G (Yes I am taking the piss!) brought on over Widlig or Koumas yesterday? I thought Jonesy had finally worked out he was a parks player....Only taken him three years like!!!

Doesn't break from the middle though. Will help no doubt but still not someone who will ghost into the box to break down defences like Andy King does
