At the back aside from Shittu a left back is critical, how about pinching Kyle Walker from QPR's noses - he's back at Spurs this week and would be a shoe in at RB - then we can shove Kev Mac over on the left. Also like the look of Jose Fonte at Southampton.

In midfield, we should be looking at a player like Ryan Harley at Exeter and potentially over on the right Will Hoskins who wripped us apart yesterday. How about Wes Hoolahan as well from Norwich or Brian Stock. Some balls in midfield would be good as well, I'd happily take Richie Wellens. Hammill has been touted about as a right winger as well - he'll do. Burke I suspect will be off in January (and to be brutally honest he has been poor this season compared to last).

Upfront I hope DJ doesn't waste money on Howard - I'd love us to sign Danny Graham but failing that Charlie Austin is a cheaper alternative or for a bit for the Saints Ricky Lambert is a good option and the kind of ugly strike that does well in the Championship - very much in the mould of Holt/Howard or Parkin.

No doubt Jones will have a surprise or 2 lined up but this is his last chance I feel for us, in the transfer market.
