Marshall, Blake, Rae, Naylor, Hudson, Gypes, Jones

We will NOT win promotion with these any of these players being named consistantly in the starting line up:

Marshall - Not good enough, does not talk to his players, is weak on crosses and fails to command his area. Heaton is twice the keeper he is. Marshall is a bench player in my opinion.

Blake - Improved since return from Plymouth with some average to good performances but too inconsistant and gives away far too many balls and free kicks.

Rae - A league one player at best, should not feature in selection.

Naylor - Shocking ! How long have we signed him up for? The real weak link in the team, he may have looked OK for Celtic, but when your playing against lower league one standard in a team full of superstars it's hard not to look OK. Get rid, he will continue to cost us points if part of the playing squad.

Hudson - Makes too many mistakes, too inconsistant. May be OK with a good partner in defence.

Gypes - A good bench player but no more than that.

On to DJ.................................

Jones - So this is the real test for him. He's to be given some cash to buy for promotion. Other clubs would have long got rid, but it appears that his freindship with Ridsdale has been his saving grace with the Malaysians giving him one last chance. His spending will be interesting whilst I hope he doesn't invest in 'crocks' or jocks or for that matter old lumps from Leicester that want long contracts to milk the club. I personally think he can do it, but we need to start by getting a result on Saturday when anything less than a win against the piss poor Bristol City will be totally unacceptable.

Marshall - He is in the team because Heaton is on his way back from injury.

Blake - DJ knows he isn't up to it so thats why Gyepes has been playing this season and why he signed Riggott and is now trying to sign Woodgate.

Rae - We all know he isn't up to it, so does DJ thats why we signed Olofinjana, Drinkwater and why Wildig was given a run last season

Naylor - DJ took him off yesterday because he was awful, He was a good signing that has failed to perform.

Hudson - Our best centre back this season.

Gyepes - As you say, good cover, and thats what he is anyway.

I think you've pretty much covered it all there... although saying Hudson is our best centre back this season isn't saying much... hence, like you said, why we have Riggott and Jones is after Woodgate as well.
