no he didn't try to.

if im correct, alexander loved the club soo much, i was told he took quite a substantial pay cut, for us to sign purse. with the promise of a pay rise at the end of the season. and when neil asked for it, dave got mad, and dropped him, and put warner and margetson ahead of it.

however, i am not forgetting who and where we came from. dave jones has made our club. and a load of fans can sit and call for his head, but before we were a promotion looking team, most of them wouldnt even go to watch cardiff. lets remember this is our biggest season, because jones has made it for us. every team has a bad spree, okay ours has lasted a little longer than usuall. but we're still second. and with some of the best players our club has ever seen. so lets get off their back and keep the faith, because we've been through alot of shit worse than now
