We also need to remember that Watford also stuffed QPR in their last game, and didn't play on Boxing Day. They are clearly a side in a good vein of form, and were well rested as they haven't played 2 days ago. Lets get some perspective here.

I dont want to defend DJ at the moment cos I'm friggin fuming at what happened today, but DJ was interviewed on TalkSport on Xmas Eve, and he did say in that interview that there is a virus going around at the moment, so I dont think DJ was telling porkies there.

Annis imo DJ is just trying to take some on the blame off the players and shoulder more of the pressure . something a certain sir alex ferguson does alot by blaming refs and so on

Exactle thats what he will do to try and take pressure of the players. he does own up some times like after swansea he openly said he got it wrong.

Absolutley gutted about todays result and from what I've heard/assume the performance too, i genuinly beleived that we had turned a corner after coventry, thought that the fact we won without bothroyd and burke said alot about the other players in the team and how they must have gained no end of confidence from the win.

Then this goes and happens today and its hard to take, we need to get form going through this period its essential and i beleive we are very lucky to still be where we are in the league.

But the most annoying thing is when stuff like this happens 'jaded and tired' its like theyve never played a christmas period before in their life. Was naylor too tired on 35 mins when he got taken off NO he was just playing shit well i dont understand why jonesy doesnt just admit it. It doesnt say anything less about him and i beleive the fans would appreciate a bit of honesty. I dont think its acceptable to let fans travel to London to stand in the freezing cold and watch that when they should be spending time with their family and then come up with an excuse like that. It seems maybe Dave is hiding something from us.
