REMEMBER WHEN QPR...

Tue Dec 28, 2010 6:45 pm

Lost to Watford many on here had a good gloat (and rightly so as we were crap) saying we had been found out & we will now crumble?

How do you feel after playing the very same team & getting crushed?

I always say its how you respond & we have responded after 2 defeats with a win over two top 6 sides scoring 6 & conceding 0. NW has the ability to snap us out of a slump fast & efficiently, does DJ? I don't think he has.

Not hear to gloat just to say the league is still tight but I must say although you have the best team in the division I honestly don't think you will go up with you're current manager. You are 2nd by a miracle & if you were honest I think you'd agree.

Unlucky & keep up the chase lads. 7 points now.

Bluebird I think you have a very capable team (best in the division on paper) but its like having a blind drunk man driving a boat with DJ I think he will be you're downfall & not the players.

I hated Wharnock when he was at sheffield united, but i must admit if you ever need a manager to get you out of that division he is the man!!!! :old:

Mate you know how unpredictable this league is so I wont speak to soon

Re: REMEMBER WHEN QPR...

Tue Dec 28, 2010 6:58 pm

Louis mate totally agree & am most certainly not counting my chickens.

The point of the post was when we lost a lot on here said we'd been found out & you will go on a run & we will slip, after playing the same team that beat us I wanted to highlight its not as straight forward as that.

I have faith in Warnock to fix problems fast, I don't think DJ has the nous or capability to do the same.

We haven't got the best team in this division. There are some really good players in it. However there are some who are crap. And they're all defenders. I don't agree we're where we are by a miracle, just goals for.

Re: REMEMBER WHEN QPR...

Tue Dec 28, 2010 7:16 pm

Fair point Longdog but when I said by miracle I didn't mean overall season wise just last 6-8 games by rights you shouldn't be there. And you say goals for you have without doubt THE best strike force by a country mile, Bellamy Bothroyd & Chopra!! That is a premiership front line. We have Heidur Helguson, Jamie Mackie & Rob Hulse! And before you say Bellers & Jay never played I'm talking about over 23 games half a season, goals for should be the very bottom of your list of gripes.

Tbh C-Mob I dont think a number of us on here will argue against you on this subject. I'm not going to. I've had my say and made my feelings known. At the moment its huring very much seeing it looks that I am right.

Mate personally I think Warnock is a better manager than jones many will agree however it only takes a few injuries and your dropping points, I think you will go up but not by winning every game

Of course we will lose games on the way I agree & injuries affect every team, luckily January is days away & we can bring in some quality even on loan too see us try to reach our target is fine by me.

I just think DJ is sooooooo lucky to manage a team like Cardiff City, a manager like Alan Curbishley or Sam Allardyce would rip this league apart with those players at their disposal. DJ doesn't deserve you & I mean that.

Yes Youve the Best Manager without Doubt in Neil Warnock, Ive said that from the beginning and Yes you have a Right to have a Quick Laugh at Us :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: REMEMBER WHEN QPR...

Annis definitely didn't come to have a laugh more to make the point after a few dug us out when we got beaten that anyone can be beat as we have both found out by Watford sticking 7 past the pair of us.

As I said I really do believe you have the best team / squad in this division but with DJ at the helm I don't fancy your chances. I may be wrong but don't think he has enough credentials in his locker to see you through the tough times.

Re: REMEMBER WHEN QPR...

Tue Dec 28, 2010 10:13 pm

C-Mob you will go up as champions and we will be second, no problem, simple as.
The vast majority of Cardiff fans have every confidence in Dave Jones and to change manager at this time of the season, with us sitting pretty in second place would be madness. If Dave Jones was to leave for another club in January, we could kiss promotion goodbye.
If anybody on here believes that another manager coming in here in January could install his systems, gain the confidence of the players and get the support of the fans , needs to take a reality check. Fairy tales need time they don't happen in football.
Why supporters of team that is second in the league can be so negative is beyond me.

Spike I think many Cardiff fans realise you are very very lucky to be sitting in 2nd place in the league, and with a very bad run in progress the arse cheeks are twitching. A couple more bad results will see you drop down a few places thats where I think the negativity is coming from.

Spike, I Never Said a Word today regardinf DJ, to me it looked like 90% of the 2,300 City fans at Watford dont want him at City, the shouts and Comments about him were I tell you Not Supporting him.

Annis I never said you did but what you and a lot of other city fans forget, the club have been in the shit financially for a number of years.
DJ has kept us challenging year on year with a tiny first team squad. What I mean is players coming off the bench who are actually up to championship standard.
I think we all know that if we are not promoted this year DJ is gone but for gods sake while he is here and we are challenging, give him your support, whethet you like him or not.

Annis, today there seemed 3 people that was singing "We want Jonesy out" I was one, my mate was one and a man 3 rows in frount of us was singing it. And to hear Cardiff fans singing to us "You Jack Bastards" made us feel like shit, i wanted to walk out right then, to have your own fans giving you backlash for Standing up for what you belive is right is shocking.

& C-Mob, i agree with you, your spot on. DJ is not the man to take us up. We have the best team on paper yes but theres no guts and fight in our squad, well thats what i would say about it today. Also recent matches we have been the same.

My opinion, just dont have a go at YOUR OWN FANS.. Terrible.

I even stayed to the end and clapped every player off the pitch, by then over half the City Fans had gone home.

I know, you said comments and shouts. Im just saying, when 3 of us sang "We want Jonesy out" it seemed like the whole end was against us.

I seen our fans going out before the end, cant realy blame them though, think they were just pissed off to be honsest.
Even though the team needs to be supported for the whole 90 mins.
