To give dj the cash he needs to prove himself, if he does and jones fucks up then I'll go against him. Till then although not happy with recent results, I'm sticking with him till the end of the season!!! We have some great players that dj has bought in, but he needs to be able to get the strength in depth... This is up to mr tan! If he wants the prem then he has to splash it!!! 2nd into the new year, I think we will take the next two games, and it'll all be sound again! Lets not all get on top of the club, let's get behind them!!!

Not being funny but we have the same team that got to the play off final but with a few premiership players added to the squad and not to mention one of the best premiership players last season in bellamy? ?

The team today had the team from the play off final save for:

Olifinjana: Not heard how he did today but has struggled of late.
Gavin Rae: Err.
Koumas: A player who hasnt played long term for what? 15/16 months at least?
Keogh: A player that was injured for the first half of 2010 and who's not great away from home with the style we try and use with him.
Naylor: Err.
Matthews: A Youngster who DJ has treated appallingly this season.

No real 'Premiership' additives from that Play-off final team.

We had problems with the defence at the end of last season.
we were torn apart in the play off second leg at our place and woefully inept at wembley in the play off final yet his way of addressing it was to bring in another over the hill full back who was no better than what he released and a centre half who has played 70 minutes since august.
He also chased out of the club a centre half who is now performing in one of the best current defences in the championship and who alongside blake was a mile ahead in the opta stats going into the play offs.
gerrard and blake were averaging conceding a goal every 279 minutes wheras blake and hudson were standing at a goal every 79 minutes going into the play offs.
He had already allegedly fallen out with gerrard then so the man was quite prepared despite those stats to bite his nose off to spite his face regarding the play off final.
Regardless of what people think of hudson the facts are he was captain of a charlton defence that conceded a record number of goals in getting relegated to league one yet we still brought him into our team as captain and leader of our defence despite having shown he struggles at the very highest level in this division the previous season.
I see we are being linked to woodgate in some quarters this morning which would just about sum up the way our manager thinks.
Sign an over thirty centre half with a current injury prone career second to none (including riggot) who would spend the rest of the season in the sick bay whilst we blow good wages on him.

jones will waste the cash on shit over the hill players he was pally with years ago or sign shit from league one..
get him out now and give a manager who knows what hes doing the cash

LETS BE HONEST,OUR DEFENSE IS THE WEAKEST ITS BEEN FOR A LONGTIME,WHY HASNT DJ GOT HIS SCOUTS OUT AND ABOUT LOOKING FOR PLAYERS IN THEIR PRIME IN THE LOWER DIVISIONS,LIKE HE PICKED UP JOHNSON FROM WYCOME,THERES BOUND TO BE TALENT OUT THERE,INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT HASBEENS AND CROCS FROM PREMIER CLUBS

I totally agree with you and if I was VT I wouldn't trust DJ with another penny. He has to go !!

Keogh played 12 games last season
Ollie played 11 last season

I'm not saying they are useless but we aren't going to roll everyone over every week.
