You've pretty much said it all there. We might as well have a traffic cone at left back. We ain't got a decent center half with MAYBE the exception of Riggot. And top it off Marshal couldn't catch pox in a Thai knocking shop.

This is why I don't understand why we are being linked with the likes of Hammill, Routledge, Best, Parkin and so on who are all attacking players. Surely people can see that going forward we have enough and that its the amount of goals we are conceding which is the problem. In my opinion I would see Heaton and Mcnaughton and possibly Riggott when fit stay in the starting XII and get new players for the rest of it because its begginning to cause us problems that we may live to regret

If he can recognise good players why didn't he do that at the beginning of the season he had the means then from VT.

We desperately needed center backs last season and Jones gets an injury prone Riggot whose started one match. Now with Lee Failor on the left, who to me looks more of an interested bystander than a left back, we are easy meat. Hopefully Jones will drop him.
