Observations against Coventry ???????????

1. Bellamy was superb, Jay would have had a hatrick from all those crosses hard and low across the floor, perfection. Also made me think how well Kevin Phillips would slot in and help us win promotion, he would love that service.

2. Riggott was also superb for a first game and talked the rest of the defence right through the game, obviously tired at the end but another plus.

3 Their keeper was man of the match, and without him we would have had a hat full.

4 Coventry slipped up and allowed us to play and were not in our faces like Swansea Forest and most others are?

5 Marshall give me the shits every time he goes to catch a high ball, when will Heaton be fit ?

6 We won without Jay, but I think they allowed us to by not kicking the shit out of us and wasting time like most teams do.

7 I loved it when we played on (and the ref allowed it) when their players went don't for no reason, we should never stop when a player goes down IMO, this will stop them diving down for nothing......

True all the midfield looked good yesterday..........

I forgot to add, Riggott and Hudson between them had King well marked first half, but second half when he switched to right wing he did Naylor far too often, he was the weak link yesterday...........

Yeah, I enjoyed watching McPhail play well again. He has definately earned his spot in the next match.
