Don't get me wrong, I would love Jay to stay, but if he go's so be it.
We have to capitalise on the situation.

The only question is, is the money promised in January inclusive of anything we get from the sale of Jay, or.is that extra?

Hamstring cant be 100% then

Re: Jay is NOT injured

Don't know if he will be sold but as I posted on here two days ago he pulled his hamstring again in training and could be out for a few weeks! A rumour doing the rounds though is that Arsenal are keen on him!

Re: Jay is NOT injured

Sun Dec 26, 2010 6:24 pm

A mate spoke to Jay down the Academy last week, and Jay told him he was out for another 3 weeks.

Re: Jay is NOT injured

I am sure Jay would have played, and give us a goodbye wave, if he was going he does like playing for us and respects us fans

Re: Jay is NOT injured

In my opinion, I find it strange one with a hamstring injury can walk 9 miles up a motorway as reported. For that reason I fail to see how it could be down to this type of injury.

Financially if another Club from the Premiership have shown their attention and willing to pay the player high Premiership wages whilst offering City a couple of million at this stage of the players contract , it would be madness to play him today for both parties sake.

Rumour from within the boardroom via a good source indicated a return to London for Jay and it was not Arsenal but a team fighting for survival hence prepared to shell a couple of million and a high salary in the effort to survive. A relegation get out clause has also been sorted out with the player/agent so it was said.

would not suprise me if jay goes in jan to be honest, jones prob already looking for replacements.

Re: Jay is NOT injured

£7,000 to £40,000 per week is a large leap for the player in my opinion , with such a leap better watch that hamstring

Funny if he is going then that he warmed up with the other players. If another team wanted him wrapped up in cotton wool for a transfer....................

In my opinion the chance of a serious injury in a standard warm up is very doubtful.

He wasn't at the game today, he's in London spending Xmas with his son!! Without giving too much away it is 100% a ham string pull! Out for a few weeks!

Re: Jay is NOT injured

I saw him walking in and collecting tickets five minutes before kick off. He seemed happy enough and was chatting with the guys on the reception doors, but obviously wasn't playing any part today. One of the told me his attitude has changed totally since he played for England though.

In my opinion then Jimbo27 he must have a stunt double because I could have sworn I was stood next to him for at least 10 minutes whilst he wore the thickest grey scarf I have ever seen talking to a Director of the Club.

£40,000????

You need to get out more, my friend. Nearly everything you state is either rumour, conjecture....or simply (as your name suggests) your personal opinion. Trouble is it's usually without ANY foundation!!

Sorry, but I get very frustrated at Karl-Heinz Rumourmonger making an appearance every time there's the slightest negative to cling on to....

In my opinion a couple of million in the bank for a player shortly out of contract is a positive and not a negative. Allows Jones to strengthen and hopefully helps obtain the 5 players he states he requires.

You are correct it's as I state my opinion and one should respect it, my opinion today has been formed on what I heard that came from within the boardroom.

In my opinion you select my postings based on your own thoughts compared to mine on Muslim terrorists and the Muslim communities across this Country that differ from yours, considering your user name I can understand why, whilst you should pay more attention to my user name as it clearly states it's my opinion and mine only, forums are based on opinions.

Today is a football day for offering opinion on football, Sven Ghali.
