Over the last 8 weeks there has been alot of doom and gloom on this messageboard as a result of the teams results on the pitch. One thing i have noticed is if City loose there are alot of people on this messageboard who instead of thinking things through, call for the manager to be sacked, players to be left out of the side and bring the club down by calling us average and that we have been 'found out'.
The two week break since our last match has done us good. I think i speak for everyone on here that we are all looking forward to Boxing Day and to see our beloved team enter the battlefield again, hoping to restore pride and bring back the amazing form they showed at several stages since the start of the season. I know, after watching videos on skysports website that our current squad, even without additions in January is good enough to clinch 2nd place. I think with good additions we will win the league.
It is my personal opinion that QPR are starting to fall apart. Cracks are starting to appear at the wrong stage of the season for them. As for us, i think our time has gone. I feel come mid january we will all be talking about running away with the league.
Some people on this messageboard however think that 'SURELY WE CANNOT FAIL'?? What is that suppose to mean?. What gives us a god written right to go up this season?. We have to work hard and us fans should be proud of where we are. We got a lovely new stadium, average attendance is on a massive high, season ticket sales through the roof and investors who are going to give us some money in January...FINALLY. However saying'SURELY WE CANNOT FAIL' puts unneccessary pressure on the team, the fans and everybody around the club. I feel in football the approach of "WE CANT FAIL WITH THIS TEAM....WE AREB THE BEST AND SHOULD GO UP" is the wrong attitude to have. That just makes teams want to come and play us giving more than 100%.
This is a tough league, a very difficult division. Forest are looking dangerous. Even Leeds United and Portsmouth are on the up. Anything can happen and in february we could see a complete different top 2, however we all need to remain strong, stick together and be proud.
I wish all my fellow bluebirds a merry christmas and a happy new year....Lets all give the players 100% support, stop slagging off the management and team on this messageboard and all wait to see what May 2011 brings. If it doesnt bring Premiership football then we all know this club needs a new direction and a new fresh start, however i still believe in Dave Jones and i still believe in this cruel world that is football, Cardiff City FC will have their time in the worlds biggest league, for me that time is NEXT SEASON..........
Keep the faith

In all honesty mate don't take things so seriously. Message Boards are for debate end of. We will all support the team in the stadium, but once the full-time whistle is blown the opinions will start.
Personally I believe we have the best squad in the Championship and if we do fail to go up then Dave Jones can only be classed as a total failure and should never manage a football team again.
If that is putting pressure on him, then for God sake what exactly are we getting in exchange for £800,000 per year?

I think thats a bit harsh mate, why shoulnt he ever manage again?.
As for the 800,000 a year, what about bellamy? 100 grand a week???if we dont go up then shoudl he never play football again?
Chopra with his 20 grand a week....if we dont go up should he never play football again?
Why is it just Dave Jones the attack goes too? Dave can only give the players the stage to play on, in many occassions they simply dont perform and need to take responsibility themselves.

Again you taking an off the cuff remark too seriously. My point was with such a talented squad including £85k per week Craig Bellamy, Jones has no excuse whatsoever for failing. If he does, then he should seriously question his worth as a manager.
