At the start of the season I thought the squad was bit bare and would have been happy for top 6. We only listed 4 or 5 subs in first game. Obviously a few signings later things changed and now I fully expect a top two finish, but we'll have to earn it.

before tg bailed us out i would have been happy with mid table but after assembling the squad we have i was expecting to be at least 10pts clear by now

For the Season - Automatic Promotion - DJ is not capable of winning through the play off system - in my opinion.
Failure to gain promotion - DJ gone!

After all of the signings I thought we would run away with this league! We have assembled our best ever squad and the league is average this year! The teams that came down from the Prem are crap and no club sent big money In the summer so I really thought we would be doing a Newcastle!

Top two, with a clear points gap on third.

Top 2 - Guess with game in hand we are not far off that expectation. May is the time though , its a long season

To be perfectly honest I initially saw us as a top six side again vying for the play-offs....and after the summer we had I was just pleased to still be here!!

However, once we started signing players (albeit on loan) of the calibre of Bellamy, Koumas (yes, even him and I'm sure he'll come good), Olifinjana, et al then I genuinely believed that whilst it is never easy, we would be in the Premiership next year and probably as champions....

As for my expectations for our christmas position I'd have probably setled to be in or around the top two with Dave Jones knowing where we need to strengthen for the second half push....exactly where we are now!!!!

Yes, we've had a bit of a 'blip' but we move onwards and forwards....so don't look back in anger and get behind YOUR team for Boxing Day and beyond....

The TRUE (non-plastic) supporters are on THIS site and, as the increasing number of empty seats on a match day prove, it is US who will STILL be there when things get tough....and it'll be US who are there to cheer them through it!!!!

At the very beginning, before Bellamy came, I thought it would all depend on how we reacted to the play off defeat. Maybe top 6, definitely top 10. After Bellamy and the other signings (Koumas, Drinkwater, Oli, Marshall, Heaton) I thought, and still think, we should be automatic promotion material

I would and still am happy to be in the top four with a chance of automatic promotion every team will have a blip, get behind the lads onwards and upwards

After the summer where it looked like we could be going out of business,etc , I was thankful just to have a team to support
Then after the superb start we had (and not wanting to go thru the play off route again !) I thought automatic so come on City as the Beatles sang "Don't Let Me Down!"
