I have had Many, Actually Winning at Carlisle on a Tuesday Night with Only 100 City Fans There Singing We are TOP OF THE LEAGUE, ARE MEMORIES I WILL NEVER FORGET
But going to Wembley and BEATING BARNSLEY(Jo Ledley) 1 Nil is the Highlight of MY 38 Years of Following them.




MY WORST WAS Seeing CITY HUMILIATED ON " OUR LAST EVER GAME AT NINIAN PARK " 3 nil By IPSWICH T, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE or FORGET THAT SHAMBLES. And I have had many Bad times watching Cardiff City, BUT THAT WAS LOW
The send off after the game was even more a DISGRACE

Scunthorpe away 93 Best memeories, Wembley semi final and Millenium Play off Final not far behind.


Worst Memories.
Newcastle away last season and Exeter away but cant remember the year late 90's. Boro and Luton home.94.
I also forgot being at Hillsborough when we missed out on the play offs, and the nightmare journey home.

Boro away in FA Cup is my all time favourtie, along with a midweek win at Sunderland and Chops winner against the Jacks last season and the Barnsley game at Wembley.

Worst has to be the other two trips to Wembley, in particular order.

The Highlights are the promotions

1 My first promotion when we beat Orient 2-0-i was 10 at the time. Brilliant memories. I still have my Jeff Hemmerman photo at my mum and dads!

2 The play off final v QPR-took my eldest who was 7 at the time. I can still see Andy Campbell lobbing the ball over Chris Days head. I also had a bit of shit of some QPR fans at Magor Services on the way home

3. The FA CUP Semi final-the thought that crappy CCFC (as they were referred to by many within the city when i was growing up) could make it to an FA Cup final was beyond my wildest dreams.


The Lowlights

1.The Durban Years-awful football in an empty stadium.

2. The play off final this year-never felt so low after a game. Gutted.

3. The last game at Ninian Park. Such a sad end to years of good and not so good memories.



Non CCFC my lowlights would be Hillsborough and Valley Parade disasters

WORST , In the late 70's we played Carlise away and with six minutes left we were winning 3-1 and they bought a sub on.In the final six minutes he scored a hat trick and we lost 4-3, it could only happen to City.
BEST, I think last years playoff semi with Leicester will take some beating , but it has to be getting to Wembley the first time and beating Barnsley knowing we had got to the FA cup final ,which was hard to believe after all the years of watching City in the lower leagues.

Best moment has to be winning the old 4th division at Scunthorpe without a doubt the best ever.

The worst has to be the same as Annis and that was what happened on the last day at Ninian Park against Ipswich with our players Manager and Chairman that totally disrespected ever City fan and Ninian Park. For that i have never felt the same for our players the ones that were there that day. They disrespected every previous player that played there as well. Will never forgive or forget especially DJ

Seeing City in a FA Cup Final was definitely a highlight and an immense feeling of pride and anchievment.

Losing to Stoke in the semi final of the play offs was absolute agony.

Highlight is probably still the Leeds cup game...........low is still the manner of the Stoke play off defeat, we were convinced dammit!!!!!!

highlight for me was my first ever european away game in servette 76/77 season lost 2-1 ron healy saved a penalty and we went through on away goal.
The european games are the thing i miss most about the club as the away trips were magical.

worst moment play off final as we were so close and yet so far. Cant forgive jones for the etuhu before ross substitution when jay went off.

My highlight was beating Real Madrid in the Cup Winners Cup a fantastic night with a great performance from the team and Ninian Park was absolutely rocking.

My worst was the pathetic performance of the manager and team in the last ever game at Ninian Park. Absolute disgrace to the memory of the ground where I grew up watching my team play in a true sporting ampitheatre, like Annis I will NEVER forgive DJ for that day.

Best:

Yes Carl i forgot about Stoke in the play offs. A bit different feeling to the last game at Ninian. That Stoke game i have never felt that bad before or since even loosing to Blackpool

Seen City mess things up loads of times but Stoke was an absolute choker.

Barnsley Semi has to be the best, but annihilating jacks in '91 is a close second

Best:

FA Cup final. I know we lost, but to be able to support my team in the final was something I never ever thought I'd be able to do.

Beating leads in the third round. The best atmosphere I have seen, full stop.

Worst:

The journey back home after the FA cup final. We were so close.

The play off final last year. Again, so close but we bottled it.

The all to common occurrence of us messing up.

Highlight has to be the FA Cup final. After watching City for 15 years and seeing such lows such as poor gates, relegations, players that were so bad I still cant believe they were professionals to get within a whisker of one of footballs most prestigous trophies was fantastic. I love the FA Cup, the first ever game I watched was the 1990 FA Cup final and to get to follow my team in the final was fantastic no matter the result.

Low - Jones's tactics v Blackpool is a recent one but there were a few performances during the 98-99 season that actually made me walk out and Preston North End wasnt even one of them! I think it was the 3-0 defeat against Cambridge, I just had enough and walked out.

For me it was being a kid in the sixties and every time the City were on Match of the Day or were featured in one of the footie mags of the day ,Shoot,Match or Goal just gave me real pride in my team.Worse memories will always be losing the Cup Winners Cup semi,or the day Tosh was sold just remember taking a long time to get over both losses.

Best for me was the FA Cup Semi final, knowing the fact I (yes me a cardiff fan) was going to watch us play in an FA Cup final, amazing.
ALso when we beat Leicester was very special day, I really thought it was our year

Worst, even though I didnt go was when we lost to SHeffield Wed on the last day of the season, never been so gutted and angry

Best memory...... the Leeds and Man City games were unforgetable theres something about Cup games, especially giant killing, play off against QPR was quality too.

Worst ... The arrival of Ridsdale.

My best moment is either Chopra's goal against the jacks last year, Ledley in the FA Cup or when Chopra equalised against Chelsea in the cup, never celebrated any goals as much as those three.

Worst moment is definitely the Sheffield Wednesday game at Hillsborough when we missed out on the playoffs two seasons ago

I did not get to nearly enough matches when I was younger because of outside reasons, but listening to the Stoke play off match on the radio all the way through, and the result in the end was bloody heartbreaking

The best was running amoc from temple meads to eastville ...and back in about 82, the worst was getting a shoeing from chelsea one wednesdy night 1980ish, gerring done by cambridge 7-1 and getting relegated to div 4......best game i think was scunny away and most eddie may games

Best - Beating QPR in the play-off final & beating Wrexham away 2-0 in the league April 93.

Worst - The play-off final last season.

Scunthorpe away '93 just pips christmas 'v' Newport when Hemmerman scored late winner and the FA cup semi.

Luton in '94 FA cup was a killer and losing to Stoke in the play-offs where we played abysmally having been great up at Stoke.

Best ever moment: Taking my son to his first ever game in 1991 and enjoying so many highs such as wembley and Millenium

stadium etc with him !

Lows: So many relegations to recall !

My Best one was when we ( about 8 of us ) went to Fulham they went 1 up then we put 1 in and then another 4, yes we beat them 1-5. To me it was like marching into the heart of england and beating the shit out of the english on there land. I remember they had loads of flags from all over the world on one side of there ground,but no welsh flag. So I went over lower down the jack flag and started to put up the welsh Dragon. Just as it was near the top of the pole a copper walk over to me and said , ok taff take it down or I will , I said to him NO! I dont want you to put your hands near that flag, I will do it.
when it was down again he said to me ok put the other one back up, I told him sorry no way will I rise that flag. He smiled at me and said ,get going Taff my nann is welsh, its your lucky day. I said to him, NO! I was born lucky IM WELSH.

Winning at wembly vs barnsley

Worst:
Losing to ipswich last game at ninian that Pissed me off big time no effort
