To me, biggest club in the world. To some of the lads on here who have been supporting them for longer than I've been alive, probably bigger than the world.

Being rational (meh, rubbish), we're not at the stage of Bolton, Wigan etc in terms of infastructure - both carrying large debt(bigger than ours ) and expenditure from all aspects of building their clubs. However I think we will acheive their levels much faster than they did. I think we could beat both in league matches.

Fanbase wise, we are bigger - and the higher end of the league pyramid would suggest people won't be as quick to abandon the club to such lows as in the past should results go wrong.

And i bet alot more once we go up, which some people may see as a bad thing but to me it is only a good thing as it means more money and fans for us !!

We are way bigger than Fulham, Bolton and Wigan. If we were in the Premiership, we would sell out every home game and we currently get bigger crowds than those three teams right now. I would say we are on a par with the Blackburn's and Birmingham's. That's if you want to compare us to a Premiership team of course as there's Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough, Hull, Derby and Norwich who are as big or bigger than us at the moment.

that's quite scary what you said there to be fair. half teams down in lesser leagues are bigger than some of prem teams. shows how crazy football is

This kind of thing as been posted before, and I will say again Cardiff City if they can stay up for a couple of seasons have got the Potential to fill the ground we have now twice over. Alot of the kids that now follow ManU and Liverpool and Gunners and so on.the so called glory hunters ,would start to take notice of Cardiff City as a football Club. God back in the 60s we had around 40,000. Cardiff City has got the potential to have one of this best following and better than some of the big clubs now.
At this time we have a good following, but our fans show there dislike of things by not turning up for games,Like many other clubs are the same.

Annis its more than 65,000 the times you are talking about ,they couldnt get it right for sure. They only knew what the ground held and then worked it out from that.

I'm not sure we can be as big as them faster. Look at Wolves, they are arguably bigger than any of those teams in terms of support but they are perennial strugglers whereas the aforementioned teams may struggle occassionally, but they've established themselves in the top flight and have the survival instinct about them, something Wolves haven't and something we will have to learn to get. In terms of support, we are bigger than Bolton, Wigan and a few others in the Premiership. But crowds, databases and fanbases are never enough on their own
