These are my 5 signings for January

David Wheater (Central Defender) contract up summer 2011 - should be cheap enough
Jonas Olsson (Central Defender/Left Back) contract up summer 2011 - again a cheap purchase
Roman Bednar (striker) contract up summer 2011 currently on short term loan with Leicester - again a cheap purchase
Gary O'Neil (midfielder) contract ends summer 2012 - Middlesbrough looking to cut wage bill, may get him for good price
James vaughan (striker) Everton looking to offload for a reputed £500,000 - bargain.
I never played pro football for Everton or anyone else but I think these would significantly improve our squad and better than Dave Jones list of players
. If we had to sell Bothroyd or Chopra (I would prefer not 2) to part fund these signings I could then live with Howard joining us as well as a back up

I reckon £5 million would get all 5. Sign them all up on 3 year contracts and they would be worth £15 million minimum straight away. Easy when u know how. How hard is it to find 5 cracking players. Do a bit of research find some players with very little time on their contracts whose clubs are looking to offload. Find out who their agents are. Sound them out. Invite the players down and show them our state of the art facilities, Offer them a fair and decent contract, draw up said contract and whammo promotion here we come.
