Get Pissed Free in the snow...

Started shoveling all the snow outside my house this afternoon, then on the street paths, then another guy helped and we managed to do the whole coldersack both sides, paths clear and all the old peoples paths cleared, they were coming out with money (which we didn't accept) and bottle of beers, shots of rum, other spirits , Im pissed now

The point of the post is...... yes we got pissed but as we cleared one guys path and doors, we found out he hadn't been out for a week, and was eating the last of the backed beans , he was around 80 and had no-one to call on, so we went down the shop for him and got him a load of munch!

Maybe if your board with the snow, get out and check on your elderly neighbours

My mate Russ has a van which is really good in the snow and has put on FB offering lifts to anyone who needs a lift. Had a reply off a nurse so he is taking her to work.

Who would be irresponsible enough to give Ben beer and also ask him to clear a path of snow?! That's medley of problems waiting to happen. In all seriousness Ben, good effort. We always make sure our old nextdoor neighbour is ok. He's got our mobile numbers and if he ever needs us he knows where we are.

All them years in the Cubs paid off.

They say you should go and check on your neighbours in this recent bad weather. So much for that!! My 88 year old neighbour hasn't been to check on me at all, the lazy old cow hasn't even bothered to take her milk in from the doorstep for 3 f*cking days!!
