Would you be happy with a winter break with football.

Pissed off with games being called off but I am not sure I would go as far as wanting a winter break in the league schedule. What do you think lads? :?:

No, no winter break. FIFA can f**k off with their proposals to ruin football all the time. Scotland it would be understandable because from December until mid-January their season is always a write off. The English league doesn't need it though. This year is extraordinary.

Totally agree with you Zabier, I will stop short of going bare-chested at games though.

no way! how often to we have a bad enough winter to disrupt the games, this year wev had 1, last year 1 maybe 2. years gone by nothing that springs to memory. why change it.
in scotland they may need to but not wales where most of our winter is 6'c and pissing with rain.

yer we would prob have snow for a few weeks before the winter break and during it the weather would be mild. how can the predict exactly when snow will fall ?

The problem is you never know when to have it. They tried it up here before and all the parks were fine then we had a really cold February - March spell when games got called off.

I don't think summer football is the answer either but I do think the season should start a few weeks earlier than it does with maybe more midweek league games earlier in the season. This would give everyone a head start and free up midweeks throughout the season when games are getting called off.
