the advertisements are extra big at Champions League games in order for the corporate sponsors to get there logos seen on television. these advertisements are so big that often the first few rows of seats are left empty due to the signage blocking the view. basically clubs and organisations are saying 'we don't want fans to turn up. we want corporate money'.
in 50 years there will be a ten team league of super clubs and they'll play in oil rich arab stadiums that hold aroud 15,000. It'll be like going to the opera. the rest of us will have to pay a fee to some satellite channel per game.

And prob at the expense of the Premiership as the Big Guns could one day leave, because as you Say money and MONEY TALKS, Football Fans come 2nd.
