Ian, I see that your location is Derby, It's looking very likely that I'll be moving there in the New Year as I've been offered a Job, what's it like living there, are the people sound?? and more importantly are the pubs ok

I'vew been based here for 20 years although I have only spent the last year here permanently. Its a strong footballing area with great rivalry between the Rams and Forest. If we stay in this division its a great place ot be for local away games.

I live just outside Derby and it is quite a pleasant area. Derby itself I would say is fairly rough in most parts so if you are moving up here I would consider living on the outskirts of the place. Like most places there are some good pubs in the town centre and you will soon get to know them.

Apparently the place is expected to be a booming area for jobs next year with quite a few companies wanting to move here.
