Yes I am sure it would make his christmas - being a dad myself I know how nice that would feel if it came from any of my children

Nigel Mansell....great racer and worthy F1 and IndyCar World Champion (only person to hold both together)

Had the pleasure of playing golf with him once and he has a (hidden to TV) dry sense of humour....

Football-wise, it's Glenn Hoddle. First saw him as a youngster at Ninian Park when we beat Spurs in the FA Cup many moons ago (THAT Peter Sayer goooooaaaaal!!!!!) and as I worked in Tottenham for a while I was lucky enough to see his career progress. Very underrated by his national team managers....but was THE creative midfielder of his day in a VERY good attacking Spurs side.

If only the could defend, eh?? (Where have I heard that recently?? )

To coin a cliche like a lot of the replies I can honestly say my dad. It's not easy putting food on the table and giving a familly a sense of pride. The man sacrificed so much to give me the best start in life. I hope I can live up to the expectation and make him proud.
